The current Farmington Public Library Association was incorporated in 1890 and continues to serve the community and the region. There have been only twenty years in the Town's history when residents have been without library services.
Library services include photocopying, reference assistance, large print books, genealogy assistance, InterLibrary Loan (for registered patrons), public computers for Internet browsing, summer reading program for children, a dult reading/discussion programs.
